Emergency travel documents are usually issued in cases of an emergency to persons who are without a passport and need to travel urgently to Guyana. Such documents are not issued for persons travelling on vacation and are only valid for one-way travel to Guyana. The Emergency Travel Document is also issued to persons whose passports have expired, been damaged, lost, or stolen, and must travel to the Embassy of Guyana in Beijing to have their biometrics taken for their new passport.
Documents required:
1)Completed application form and fee
2)Two (2) recent passport-size colour photographs with a white background
3)Applicat’s Birth Certificate/Naturalization Certificate
4)Copy of their passport, copy of visa and stay permit
5)Air ticket and/or travel itinerary
