    Guyana & China

        Guyana became the first country in the English-speaking Caribbean to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China in 1972. Relations between the two countries are marked by frequent high-level exchanges at the bilateral and multilateral levels and close cooperation in the economic and cultural fields.
